Holiday weekend

We had a wonderful day today. We went to pick up my bike at the trek store, and while we were there Todd bought Jack a new bike. So now that we all have awesome bikes we decided to take a ride down by the water. Ok, Allie does not ride a bike, Todd got her a luxury seat on the back of my bike. This thing is nice. She is like a princess sitting back there with her hair blowing in the wind and mommy doing all the work. Anyways, she loved it. jack did awesome on his bike. We did about 3.5 miles. We were worried and turned around, but I think he could have kept on going. He is now on a 16" frame. He was way to tall for his other bike. I can't believe how much he has grown up.
Some of Jack's sayings:
What the heck mom! He got that from todd. It could be worse.
Um...so... Mommy what are we doing today (leaning on the wall tapping his fingers) I get this every morning
While riding he said, "Those people disappeared on their bikes." (Didn't know he new the word or how to use it)
At the party we went to Sunday night he was playing with a girl who turns 5 next month and he turns to her and says, "Excuse me. Will you be my friend?" That was after they had been playing for a bout an hour. And he has played with her a few times at the park and pool. She said YES! They did not leave each others side. Then while playing with Maddox, who is 1, Jack says You are my best buddy! He is the sweetest little boy. Todd and I have been noticing how polite and sweet he is to MOST kids. It makes you feel good, like you have done something right.

Hope everyone had a great holiday weekend!
